New Year's Gay

I had, without a doubt, the best New Year's Eve of my entire life. My initial plan was to stay home and maybe call the suicide hotline. However, once I realized that my shower rod wasn't going to support my limp, lifeless body, I needed to make some new plans.

I've actually been incredibly depressed this holiday. There are several things I could chalk it up to but I've certainly been blue. Luckily, I learned a very valuable lesson: friends are your friends for a reason. You don't just hang out with people because you can tolerate them. You spend time with them because you recognize something in each other that you like; that makes you happy.

Well my friends came through big time last night. I went down into Baltimore with Jack, Nicole, and Nicole's friend Jackie (whom I've met before) who is in town visiting from San Francisco. We met up with Keyser, Keyer's girlfriend Kristen, and Keyer's roommate James, all people who I'm rather fond of. We then met up with Brian and his girlfriend Becky. I love Brian and Becky is cool as...well fucking cool, I don't know. However, Peter Fitzpatrick was with them.

Peter Fitzpatrick and I were best friends in high school but we haven't spoken in 3 years...because of me and the bullshit I used to pull. The last time I spoke to him was the day that Lindsay, Sam, and I saw the Used. Well, I'm not going to go to deep into detail but we talked and we're friends and I think we're going to, hopefully, become close again. As Peter told me last night: "You can't rebuild a burnt bridge, but, you can also build a new one." That may be the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. There's, a lot, A LOT!!! of history in that sentence.

Oh and we went to a strip club and Brian bought me a lap dance. Her name was Lea...she wasn't gentle.
